An American original, this competent retriever doubled as a dog wash water. Like many of the races spaniel, hunting both feather and fur (and even fish) with the same enthusiasm.
Friendly, intelligent, and often eager to please, this dog is also very protective of its owner. At the age of dog can be aggressive. This dog is very soft mouth, but can be trained to play tug of war. It will be very attached to the alpha of the house and think, until they are adults to children as their colleagues in the kennel.
Castrated females have a mind of their own when warm (though very well trained). This small brown dog also has many of the usual properties spaniel.
